Nipaluna/Hobart has one of the densest populations of Antarctic and cold-climate researchers and workers in the world. Luckily for us, most of them come back to tropical Tassie during winter — so we’ve invited them all to join us at Hobartica. And these Roving Antarcticans aren’t just scientists. Alongside those studying melting sea ice and penguin reproduction, you’ll meet the tractor drivers, the engineers, even the plumbers who ensure Antarctic research flows smoothly.
