We’re lifting the hood on the most misunderstood organ in biology: the clitoris!

Through immersive performances, outrageous anatomical costumes, and wild but true tales from the animal kingdom, you'll learn what you should have learned in sex-ed. By looking to science and the world around us, we celebrate and empower perspectives that have historically been dismissed and literally written out of scientific discourse. Come for the laughs, leave informed and inspired, and ready to challenge tired old myths!

Doors: 7.00pm
Runtime: 7.30pm - 8.30pm

PRESENTERS

Dr Alex Paton
Dr Alex Paton is a wildlife ecologist, fieldwork enthusiast, and professional animal detective who uses cameras, drones, and the occasional weird dataset to understand wildlife and solve conservation problems.

Genevieve Butler
Genevieve is a bilingual performance artist working across Bouffon, drag, circus, and physical comedy to explore the strange theatre of social masks.

Dr Haley Viehman
Haley is a marine scientist with a passion for renewable energy, sustainable development, and the overlap between art and science. When she is not analysing sonar data, she is usually making something, from paintings to costumes and beyond.

Dr Tiana Pirtle
Dr Tiana Pirtle has spent much of her life studying animals, from giraffes in Africa to brumbies in Australia, with a PhD in reproductive ecology and physiology. Now working in science communication, she loves sharing wild animal stories that reveal the astonishing diversity of life.

Ty Fitzsimmons
Ty is a teller of tales from days of yore, weaving a rich tapestry of gravity-defying marvels and dramatic lore, deeply steeped in the classic discipline of the theatre.

Zoe Kean
A science writer and communicator focused on evolution, the environment, and ecology, Zoe Kean explores how life adapts, survives, and gets weird in the process.
