
HOBARTICA PRECINCT
Head down to Nipaluna/Hobart’s waterfront to find the last outpost before you hit “The Ice”. Hobartica returns as an all-new precinct of polar revelry and Antarctic encounters.
The Precinct opens Thursday 6 Aug with a Statement of Country by Theresa Sainty and our ever-popular Krill Party. From Friday 7 - Sunday 9 Aug, check out our cosy Antarctic night market, interactive geodesic domes, VR tours of Macquarie Island, our Polar Plunge Challenge, Celestial Concerts, live music and talks in the Antarctic Lounge, delicious things to eat and drink, and so much more.
Hobartica is mostly free and family-friendly, with a few ticketed and a few adult-only events. Check out the full program below.
